Isaac + McCray
Ahh this session you guys! Let me set the scene for you...
Isaac messaged me a few weeks ago asking for my help in his plan to propose to McCray. He wanted it to be a surprise and to have the entire moment captured. We quickly included McCray's bestie, Campbell, to assist us. Side note: you may remember Campbell from her surprise engagement session a couple weeks earlier! Okay back to the story. We came up with the idea that we would set this session up as a "best friend" shoot. We set the stage that Campbell and McCray would be helping me build my portfolio with this bestie shoot I was inspired by on Instagram. Game on.
Isaac and I met up about 30 minutes before Campbell and McCray arrived to find our location and get him hidden! We found the perfect spot and waited for the girls to show up. Once Campbell and McCray were there I directed them to the spot and we got started. In order to surprise McCray we devised the plan that I would ask them three questions about each other, they would write their answers on a chalk board back to back, and then turn around to reveal. Questions one and two go well...we don't think McCray suspects anything. Last question - I tell the girls that I want them to write down their favorite thing about one another. Cue Isaac!

And then...
SHE SAID YES!
Isaac was so thoughtful about every aspect of this proposal wanting to make it special for McCray. One of my favorite touches was the bouquet Isaac made for her at the store McCray works at...when she wasn't there of course.
Due to the heat and humidity we actually decided to move the rest of their session to the Glass Tangerine, where McCray works! Y'all. It was the most beautiful backdrop for the rest of their session and I'm so excited to show you!
