Your moments' best friend. Engagements, weddings, maternity, family—it's all about capturing the real, unfiltered magic.
Candid photos are my favorite. I love to freeze emotions, connections, and stories that last lifetimes. I enjoy turning your life stages into timeless tales, one photo at a time.
I'm excited to come alongside you on this incredible journey! Let's chat!
As long as I can remember I have been creating in some way. Whether it was drawing, crafting, baking, or taking photos, I have had what seems like a constant need for a creative outlet. I am blessed that God gave me parents who always encouraged and supported anything new I wanted to try. In fact, I vividly remember watching the Disney movie Brink! and turning to my Dad and saying, "I want to skate!" The very next day he had me at the local rink teaching me out to roller skate. Or my Mom who gifted me my first "real" camera in high school because I wanted to get into photography. This was an upgrade from the little silver Kodak I would run around our yard with snapping photos of E V E R Y T H I N G!
After getting my Canon T3i in high school, I started booking my first sessions, and then continued on throughout college upgrading my gear where I could. In college I started to veer off into the baking world, which made sense because I worked part time at a cupcake store, and was obsessed with all the Food Network cake shows. However, a few years later when my husband, Josh, and I got married and moved to Cookeville, I said to him one afternoon, "I'm not telling anyone in Cookeville that I make cakes or take pictures."
Yeah...well, that lasted about 6 months. But why?
It didn't last because I genuinely enjoy making people feel special. Feel seen. Feel loved. Whether that's remembering your birthday, and making a cake that you told me your grandma used to make growing up, or making you feel beautiful in your photos. I feel like this is what God has called me to - use of my creativity to love on people. I've since stepped back from cakes, but have put my focus back into photography. My first creative love. So when you book a session with me, I want you to know that I am so excited for that time with you! Excited to make you feel great, and excited to tell your story through photos.
I'm thankful that you're joining me on this venture. To all my clients past and present, thank you for trusting me to preserve your family's special moments, milestones, and celebrations. Especially to those who believed in me at the very beginning!

This is my husband Josh. We've been married for 8 years, together for 12. We met through mutual friends in college, but actually went to rival high schools. I often wonder how many times we passed by one another, and didn't even know.
Josh is my best friend and better half no doubt. He meets no stranger, and has the incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome. I could go on and on about him, but I'll spare you.
Josh also second shoots with me at weddings. Alongside me, he will be your biggest hype man and help to make your day special. I'm never surprised that he's already made friends with all the groomsmen by the time we meet up for bridal party photos.
One of our favorite things to do together is host people. We love throwing fantasy football draft parties, friendsgivings, and showers for our friends. We both love welcoming people into our home to hang out and "do life together".
This is Baxter, our very spoiled dachshund. He joined our family the weekend of mine and Josh's one year wedding anniversary almost 7 years ago. If you've ever had a dachshund you will probably resonate with everything I'm about to tell you.
I've never seen a dog have more personality than this dude. He's goofy, he's sassy, he's snuggly, and he's stubborn! Baxter loves to burrow under blankets, and often amazes people when they see him do this. He's most content when we spend a lazy day at home where he snuggles up to one of us all day.
Baxter has many nicknames, but you'll often hear us refer to him as "Bub" or "Bubba". He's been the bestest boy, and keeps us laughing all the time.
And last, but certainly not least, we will be welcoming our first born in 2025! We are expecting a sweet boy in April. We are beyond excited to meet this little guy in the Spring, and know he will bring so much joy to our lives and others. His life is already a testament to God's goodness and provision.
